Founder and Lead Guide
Greetings and welcome to Mangrove Prep, a place where strong roots and stronger futures are cultivated. As the founder of this unique microschool, I am excited to invite your family into a community that fosters connection, collaboration, and creativity in a way that appeals to boys.
I am a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience, dedicated to shaping young minds and fostering a culture of learning. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. I have taught elementary grades, as well as served as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal. I have experience with traditional public schools, charter schools, private schools and homeschooling. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a wife and mother of 4 (3 boys and 1 girl), finding balance between nurturing my family and empowering others through education. My mission is to inspire individuals to lead peaceful and purposeful lives, both inside and outside the classroom.
